The Sun Kiss

The Sun Kiss And when the sun Kisses the sands, It turns life to silhouettes And the world to gold. Earth and sky as one, Molten, liquid and flame. And nothing exists Beyond the quickening Of the sunset minutes. A treasured time. For the gold will soon Pass to darkness. And the sun kiss Turn to night breath; Cold replacing gold. And the silhouettes And flame light Extinguished.

A favourite photograph from my trip to Java in Spring this year, Parangtritis Beach, south central Java coast...and a new poem.
