Emptiness

Emptiness Took the empty path Sinuous and soundless Where trees parted In the wordless forest. The afternoon sun dipped Among the branch lines And leaf sparkled Flashing in silence Yet emptiness was nothing In the presence of nature For the world was alive I had only failed to notice. _________________________________ How often we look into emptiness, but fail to see the presence all around us. An empty path in an empty forest. Never...no it is never empty. You will see life, you only have to look.
