The Night Cold (Peace Desired) Long after the darkness fell, The cold of the night unmoving. We waited in the silence, The cold racked our bones And rattled our souls. Yet with every shiver We knew light would return And peace would break from A horizon shining with hope. Peace desired and light returned.
