Memories in Dawn Light

Memories in Dawn Light Did you not see the sun rise? Or feel the night breath? Did you not listen to the dawn song? Or disturb the silver dew drops? Did you not witness the sky in colour dance? Or hear the leaf welcome in gentle breeze? No. You did not. For you are the light of dawn And sun painted skies. For you are the dew drop tears And the wind that breathes life to memories. I saw, I listened, I felt everything that morning. Though you had gone, The morning was you. _____________________________ On #worldpoetryday I wrote a poem dedicated to my daughter Milla. Though she is no longer with is, each morning brings renewed memories. And for that I am grateful. Miss you Milla xxxx
