Inhabiting the Pauses

Inhabiting the Pauses The silence lays still Inhabiting the pauses Noise does not matter Every sound must end In a moment of quiet Whether brief, silent The pauses possess The thoughts of mankind The actions from noise Stillness within pause Bringing comfort from silence Renewed strength to mind Inhabit pauses Welcome the calmness within Noise lost and peace found _____________________________ We are typically awake for anything between 12 to 18 hours out of a 24 hour period. Yet how many of us find a moment of complete silence, a place of total quiet, to sit and calm our thoughts, to still ourselves. To slow down and inhabit the pauses between the noise? 15 minutes, 30, 45 or more. Of quiet and stillness, of silence. You will be amazed at how much a moment of silence can affect so much of our daily lives...renewed energy,.clarity of thought and decision making, reduced stress levels, a sense of calmness and perspective. Inhabit the pauses.
