The Clouds Wept

The Clouds Wept The clouds wept Great sobs of despair Sadness in drop upon drop Torrents poured down And desperation soaked us Until we could no more Be saturated in the deluge But with the gentlest of breeze The clouds moved, almost imperceptible And the rain that stair rod fell Ceased to drizzled dissatisfaction And sullen stopped For despair had passed Those waters the leaves and roots welcomed While rivers churned in happy swell The ground sodden to field and farm and garden And the flowers stood tall to smile As the sun resurgent appeared And dried every angered drop And stinging tear that stubborn remained _____________________________ Clouds may be present...but the sun is always there. It will appear. Be patient.
