Silence

There is joy in silence And a desire that craves Both stillness and calm To embrace the quiet of an endless note That reverberates and resonates nothing A peace that swallows all thought And lays still all intent For when we only hear the noise That penetrates our every waking moment Silence is lost forever Unless we seek it And stay in its company Unmoved unhurried Listening to nothing As if it is the loudest most joyous sound You will ever know _____________________________ How often can we truly say we experience total silence? Complete peace undisturbed by sound. A chance to remain in still calm...thought-less and focusing on nothing except that moment and being at peace and still in thought and word.
