Sunset Embers

Sunset Embers (Spark & Fade) Silent fell the snow To blanket cover the memories Of footprints and shadows Shiver long the night Until silent sun again to rise The sky gently dissolving Sunset embers spark then fade While ebony black approach And darkens in stilled calm Those silent whitened fields In a final glow of remembered warmth
