Strength Therein

Strength Therein To see the flower as delicate and sensitive Is to fail to see its strength and determination To see the stem as fragile and weak Is to fail to see how the surface was broken New shoots to emerge To see the petal as thin and insubstantial Is to fail to see that which withstands rain and gale, frost and hail To see only weakness Is to fail to realise what strength lies therein

We all possess strength in many ways. Kindness, caring, sensitivity to others, positivity, friendship, tolerance and understanding are also strengths. Not just physical prowess.
