Friends I have friends with varying views People who differ in all that they do Some of my friends are Tories Some of my friends eat meat Some of my friends would never wear lycra Or sit on a bicycle's seat Some of my friends are gay, others are straight But none of my friends will discriminate or give in to hate Some of my friends voted Brexit Some of my friends still believe We'd be better off outside of Europe Opinions as different as chalk and French cheese Some of my friends are opinionated and will never see The other side of the coin or what is important to me Some of my friends are quiet and shy Others unnecessarily loud But there's one thing they'll always be of which I am justly proud.
